Our Mission
To assist in providing information, resources, and assistance to the advanced in age, terminally ill, and their families so that confusion, stress, and fear can be lessened. Facilitating legacy projects and interviews that help the dying look back over their life, remember forgotten experiences, and leave a lasting memory for their friends and family. Each life is unique. At a travelers guide we strive to showcase that uniqueness while fostering knowledge to help the dying achieve their final wishes and have their affairs in order so they can be honored without confusion. The more we can all remember that death is a natural part of life, the less alone we feel. With that can come healing and peace.

What is a travelers guide?
A guide is something or someone who assists getting from one place to another. Sometimes it is a map, other times bread crumbs. Yet sometimes still, it is a mere fellow traveler. In this age of unlimited and instant knowledge, truth and faith can become all but unrecognizable. For centuries religion, philosophy, and a myriad of other disciplines and sciences have attempted to define the soul and the nature of existence. For some, salvation was found with religion. For others faith without proof is not possible. Still others cannot fathom a divine being. No matter your perspective a single truth remains as humans we will all surrender to whatever comes after life. If you come simply looking for information we will help you find it. If you come to connect with others to remember you are not alone in the uncertainty, you will be in good company. We aim to assist all souls find what they need to have a good death and a more meaningful life until that hour comes.
What we do
- Listen receptively, have knowledge and experience in many areas that relate and overlap with death.
- Can recommend many threads of information to help facilitate personal knowledge to bring understanding and comfort.
- Can assist in helping frame what the traveler desires for their final affairs and legacy. This can range from something as simple as a book recommendation to help crafting a legacy project.

Why the guide
If you or a loved one has been informed death will occur in the next year. A travelers guide would be honored to help showcase the human that existed during the human experience. In each life there are many lessons. We often forget to remember that we are each student and teacher. That changes only by where we currently stand on our path. You exist and that was enough. What lessons did you learn? And what advice do you have to pass on? Let’s figure out who you were and what it all meant to you. The deepest meaning to life still lies ahead!
